Ken HammondPainting on canvas 30"x20" of ships preparing to leave harbour from a South West quay side. Ken Hammond spent his childhood in the West Country with his uncle who was a fisherman on the river Fowey in Cornwall and this has influenced him greatly in his paintings of river and estuary scenes. He was also a member of the crew on the sailing ship Sir Winston Churchill. He paints in the style of the old Dutch masters and has been influenced by the Norwich School of Artist's he likes to work in all painting mediums and always tries to achieve new and different styles.
